Deep in the forest is the title of this group exhibition about animalism, animal representation in contemporary art and animal rights with artworks by Kemê Pellicer, Ruth Montiel Arias, Manuel Bautista, Concha Martínez Barreto, Andrés Pachón y Sergio Pilan. It took place at the Sala Nana Centro Puertas de Castilla, Murcia, from 4th May till 31th May 2016. This curatorial project makes a reflection through the philosophical doctrine that humans are animals in their essential identity and it is very important to respect other animals and nature.
En lo profundo del bosque es el título de esta exposición colectiva sobre animalismo, la representación de los animales en el arte contemporáneo y los derechos de los animales, reuniendo obras de los artistas Kemê Pellicer, Ruth Montiel Arias, Manuel Bautista, Concha Martínez Barreto, Andrés Pachón y Sergio Pilan. Tiene lugar en la Sala Nana del Centro Puertas de Castilla en Murcia, del 4 al 31 de mayo de 2016. Este proyecto curatorial propone una reflexión filosófica en torno al hecho de que los humanos somos animales en esencia y es muy importante respetar a los demás animales y a la naturaleza.
